          01 correct control of label printing tension

          The tension control of the printing machine is divided into the control of the paper feeding tension and the paper receiving tension. Different kinds of materials and different width materials should be adjusted accordingly, so as to print normally.
          (1) Paper feeding tension control
          The correct paper feeding tension should first ensure that the film self-adhesive material overprinter accurately, and the material does not deform in the printing process, that is, the end face of the material does not tilt. If the end face of the material is raised in the printing process, it means that the rewinding tension of the material is too loose and the taper setting is unreasonable, so it is necessary to rewind and print again. If there is no rewinding equipment, the temporary remedy is to install a splint on the paper placing shaft to prevent the material end face from protruding, but in this case, the overprint will still be inaccurate.
          (2) Receiving tension control
          The paper tension is also related to the printing registration, and determines the tidiness of the end face of the winding. Too small winding tension will not only affect overprint, but also uneven winding end face, which will bring trouble to the next process. Too much winding tension will cause problems such as glue leakage on the end face of material, label displacement or bottom paper fracture after printing, which will affect the printing efficiency. Therefore, the appropriate paper tension is very important. Generally speaking, the best tension value should be obtained through the test.
          The continuous paper feeding label machine must control the paper feeding tension and paper receiving tension. After printing different kinds of materials and different width of materials, it is necessary to summarize and record these data in time, so as to improve efficiency and ensure quality. Generally, the winding tension shall be greater than or equal to the unwinding tension, and the maximum tension shall not exceed one time.
          02 using glazing process instead of film covering process
          Each kind of film material has its special physical and chemical properties, some of which are not suitable for laminating. If the film is coated after printing, the properties of the material will be destroyed. PE material has a soft surface and can be applied to curved or spherical objects with large radius of curvature. The commonly used coating material is strong BOPP film. Once the coating label becomes the composite of PE and BOPP, the performance will change, and it is no longer suitable for the surface or spherical object.
          In the process of composite, there will be tension mismatch between the two materials, which will lead to label deformation, resulting in label warping and separation in application. Therefore, for the label with large area and the label applied on the surface, UV glazing technology is recommended instead of film coating. The polishing process can not only protect the ink layer, but also give full play to the best application effect of the material characteristics.
          03 150lpi color screening label is recommended
          The label finally attracts consumers' attention through shelf effect. For printed products, the higher the number of screening lines, the clearer the image and text, but the less the amount of ink, the lighter the color; the lower the number of screening lines, the greater the amount of ink, the better the visual effect, but the coarser the image and text.
          The number of screening lines is also directly related to printing quality, printing scrap rate, printing equipment precision, and printing materials. The high number of screening lines requires high smoothness of materials and high precision of equipment, otherwise it cannot meet the quality requirements; the low number of screening lines requires much more relaxed conditions. Therefore, the best choice of optical label printing is 150lpi color screening, which not only meets the visual effect, has a certain shelf effect, but also ensures the printing quality, at the same time, the consumption is controlled within a reasonable range, to achieve a comprehensive balance.
